How VaultX handles information on vaultxlock.com.

This site is simple. It has no accounts, no forms and no checkout. We collect very little, and this page explains what and why.
VaultX makes an internal locking system for shipping containers and trailers. We are based in South Texas. You can reach us at carlton@vaultxlock.com or +1 (512) 749-8027.
What you send us. If you email or call to ask about VaultX or request a demo, we receive your name, email address, phone number and whatever you tell us. The "Schedule a Demo" button on this site opens your own email app. Nothing is submitted through the site itself.
What our tools collect automatically. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. It records things like which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (city or region, not a street address), what device and browser they use, how they arrived at the site, and when someone clicks a phone number or email link.
Hosting and fonts. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes visitors' IP addresses and request details in order to serve pages and protect against attacks. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
Google Analytics uses cookies to tell one visitor from another and to count visits. Our other tools may use cookies or similar browser storage for the same purpose, and Cloudflare may set a cookie for security. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run ads on this site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser extension. The site works the same either way.
To understand how people use the site and improve it, to answer the questions and demo requests people send us, and to keep the site secure.
We share information only with the service providers that run these tools: Google (Analytics and Fonts), Cloudflare (hosting and security). They process it on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We keep analytics data and emails only as long as we need them for the purposes above.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to opt out of certain uses. Email us and we will respond. We will not treat you differently for asking.
This site is for businesses in the freight and logistics industry. It is not directed at children.
If we change this page, we will update the date at the top.
